This is a Christian nation, founded on Christian principles. I support open immigration to this country with a few provisions.
1. Christians would be given priority in immigrating to the US.
2. Americans would be given priority in immigrating to the US.
3. All applicants for immigration would be required to sign a statement of understanding that the US is a Christian culture and that if they are offended by the Christian culture than they are not welcome here.
4. No immigration would be granted to people participating in a religious organization or adhering to a religious faith that promotes physical violence against Christian believers.
5. Christian Culture awareness classes would be required for all Non-Christian immigrants.
Please share your thoughts with me. Thank You!
Wouldn't this undermine the freedom of religion?
ReplyDeleteIn what way would this undermine the freedom of religion? People are still free to believe what they want. They are not free to commit violent crimes against others for what others believe. Thanks for the comment. Let me know more about what you were thinking.
ReplyDeleteI see. What would the Christian Culture Awareness classes consist of?
ReplyDeleteChristian Culture Awareness classes would be classes that expose the immigrant to a survey of Christian literature and the history of Christianity in America and how Christian principles provided the backbone of our legal and political systems as they were initially instituted.
